I see no cat

There is no cat on the table.

You may believe you see a cat on the table, but you do not, for two very important reasons:

1. The cat is on the towel, not on the table. If the towel sees fit to be on the table that is its own affair and not the business of the cat.

2. The towel is orange; the cat is orange. The cat, therefore, is not visible on the towel.

The cat not being visible, it cannot therefore be seen. Ergo, the invisible cat is not on the table.
