Twitchy cats, 11th April

The cats were probably sleeping quietly when I was busy elsewhere, but there was no staying still once I got out the sketch pad. First of all there was ‘Waiting’ for dinner. After that they went outside so I went with them, where there was quite a lot of sitting around on the part of the cats, but in a twitchy, constantly fidgeting way of a cat that is surrounded by interesting smells and sounds. I tried to sketch them, but it was probably even worse than chickens, as cats can be such a greater variety of shapes than chickens, which are relatively inflexible. Next time I am outside I might sketch a nice still plant instead!
